About The Jewelers Loupe

Owner John Finley, born in 1969, has been in the jewelry industry from the young age of fifteen. His father, Johnny Finley, owner of a local business, trained him while in his employ as a teenager in all the various aspects of the business. From jewelry repair, buying jewelry, advertising and working with customers, John came to love everything about the jewelry business. After graduating high school in 1987, John’s father trained him in managing and eventually becoming the owner of the Jeweler’s Loupe.
John is also a family man. He married his high school sweetheart at the age of twenty three and God has blessed them with two handsome boys and a beautiful daughter with special needs. They have been active members at Lakeside Baptist Church in Clearwater since 1992. John credits God with all the many blessings bestowed upon his family and his business. While on his day off, he enjoys hunting, fishing and shooting guns. He also enjoys scuba diving and taking his sons to see drag racing events. John also enjoys coaching and watching his boys play baseball.

John also attributes his successful jewelry business to his loyal customers and his great staff. His employees are very knowledgeable about jewelry and know that customer satisfaction is the most important component to the success of the Jeweler’s Loupe. His father taught him early on to be pleasant and caring to his staff and to never ask someone to do a task that he wasn’t willing to do himself. John knows that his staff is dependable and reliable and it shows in how the business runs so smoothly.
The Jewelers Loupe tries to give the best service and price possible. His employees have always told him that the store could make more money if he didn’t give such a vast discount. He wants to treat his customers the way he would want to be treated in thereby doing so provides them with a wonderful price on their purchase.
John has said that what keeps him in business is not a “one time purchase” but a lifelong relationship with his customers for all of their “life’s great celebrations”.
